In this trailer, we see quite a lot of medium and close-up shots, these are important in a horror trailer, as we want to see the emotion on the characters' faces, we want to notice the fear in their eyes when something horrific is happening. This trailer also includes, at the beginning, from the makers of paranormal activity; it is good to put things like this in a horror trailer, as, if an audience enjoyed a previous film made by the same people, they are more likely to go and see this film.
I also like the idea of putting in text; by putting in text, it gives you an oppurtinity to change shots, change time frames, but also, it helps the audience understand the narrative a bit better, it gives them more of an insight into what they are going to see. It also builds the tension, as you do not know what is coming next, as it stops the continuous shot.
